ADA has been associated with people, their passion and the environment for many years. We are a company that is extremely diverse, covering all aspects of rider or driver training, tours, events and challenges.

ADA came into being in April 2005 to manage the ever successful and long-running Honda Adventure Academy in South Africa.  Since then various other partnerships to provide brand specific solutions have been created and maintained.  ADA�s leadership has been actively involved in automotive events, off-road accessories and overland trips for nearly two decades.  This experience has been deeply entrenched in the current business model and successes have been delivered.

Product and application knowledge � We ensure that we understand the products and their application in order to convey the right skills and knowledge to the selected target audience through the most appropriate means.

Attention to detail and personal focus � Our team members, specialist facilitators and instructors are passionate about people and their development.  Groups are kept small so that each person can be assisted with the �small things� that form the basis for advancement.

Accessible venues � Except for our �flagship� Gauteng facility, we select venues that are within relative easy reach of all major centres country-wide to present our training and events or to commence with our tours.  We care about the communities within which we operate and constantly drive environmentally respectful behavior.

Increased confidence � Working in groups stimulates camaraderie, builds team work and increases confidence.  All of these are qualities required for enjoying the outdoors as part of a group.

THE TEAM

All our instructors at African Dream Adventures are selected not only for their riding skills and capabilities but also for their excellent ability to successfully transfer knowledge across to the riders.

Heine Engelbrecht is the founder of African Dream Adventures and after his involvement in the 4x4 industry for many years has a passion to ensure that every on road and off road rider has had the opportunity to be trained in all the technical and practical aspects of driver training.

All our instructors have successfully trained numerous riders of all ages, races & genders for the last 5 years.

The well known and highly experienced Johan Gray is our senior instructor for dual sport, off-road motorcycles and 4x4's. He is supported by the likes of Marcel, Mark, Judy, Herman, Diete, Elrich, Kyle and Reinart.  Each of the instructors have an area of specialisation and are employed as such, however, all of them remain multi-skilled in all the disciplines.  For example; Marcel in off-road and enduro riding techniques, Mark in all levels of Dual Sport, Diete in all levels of ATV�s and side-by-sides.  Elrich, Kyle and Reinart has come through the ranks, starting with the new riders and after five years experienced in most of the areas as well.

Nico, one of the starting members of training in Dual Sport within ADA and Ivo, the Regional Leader for ADA in the Western and Northern Cape, is looking after affairs in East London, Port Elizabeth, George, Cape Town to mention but a few of the main centres. They are passionate about people and have extensive experience in some of the best ride-out events to the most beautiful area of our country.

Judy Vieth is a highly experienced female instructer, specializing in off-road and dual sport motorcycle training.

Deanne is the senior instructor responsible for our new and young rider programme and is supported by Liesl.

Our instructors will ensure that your training expectations will be more than met.

HISTORY

After doing part time training & evaluation for Mitsubishi, Land Rover, Nissan & Suzuki, Heine Engelbrecht decided to start a dedicated training academy. With 4 sons riding ATV's (quads) and off-road motorcycles he realized they needed training. At that time no where in South Africa could he find a dedicated motorcycle training institute.

Heine Engelbrecht then decided to use his vast experience and knowledge in training to start a dedicated training institute and African Dream Adventures was born.

Honda South Africa then also realized the advantage and benefit to train their customers and joined hands with African Dream Adventures and the very successful Honda Adventure Academy started in 2005.
